Health workers of Joshipur Rural municipality in Kailali have staged a sit-in on March 31 protesting after not receiving their salary and bonus. The demonstrators demanded the payment of their salaries. Nepal Health Workers Association Kailali demanded that all health workers should be paid diligently according to the rules, Joshipur Rural Municipality should ensure the payment of wages and service facilities according to the Labor Act.
