A complaint was lodged against a 34-year-old man in Mahottari on April 7 on the charge of raping his 13-year-old daughter. According to the police, the incident was disclosed after the mother of the victim found out that she was pregnant due to the rape. The accused absconded after the complaint was lodged. Police are further investigating the incident. The victim underwent a medical examination at district hospital in Bardibas.
