Police arrested 54-year-old Biswabandhu Thapa of Panauti municipality-11 in Kabhrepalanchok on April 12 on the charge of murdering his 94-year-old mother. According to the police, the accused charged the victim with a sharp weapon over her head and brutally injured her. The victim lost her life on the way to the hospital. Police have started further investigation into the incident by holding the accused into custody.
