Police arrested Bishal Rana a 24-year-old man of Biruwa rural municipality-2 of Syangja district currently residing in Butwal sub-metropolis-17 on April 17, on the charge of raping a 19-year-old teen girl. According to the police, the accused raped the victim on August 11, 2022 and then he absconded. According to the victim, the accused raped the victim while under the influence of alcohol and she was 30 weeks pregnant as a result of the rape.
