Police on April 23 arrested 70-year-old Khamma Rana of Tilagufa rural municipality-10 Ranawada in Kalikot from his home on the charge of raping a 14-year-old teen girl. According to the victim's father, Rana had repeatedly raped the teen victim who has physical disability since the past few months. Police arrested the accused after receiving complaint from the victim's family. Police formally registered the complaint on April 25. Police are further investigating the incident. It was revealed that the accused had tried to settle the case in village.
