Youths of Biratnagar staged a symbolic demonstration on May 14, against the 'Bhutanese Refugee Scam'. The demonstrators protested without their shirts on and demanded a fair investigation. Stating that the assets of the leaders should be investigated, they demanded to investigate the big corruption scandals. Uttam Dhungel, a youth activist, alleged that they demonstrated half-naked to put pressure on the government to investigate corruption-related incidents.
