Two traffic police Junga Bahadur Basnet and Man Bahadur Thagunna were injured after the locals attacked them on May 19 during a traffic check in Nepalgunj metropolis-17.  The locals agitated after a vehicle of Meraj Shesh was injured in a traffic accident when his bike bearing number plate Bhe 11 pa 1255 tried to escape the traffic check. The locals alleged that because of their unnecessary traffic checking the Shesh was injured.  According to the police, the accused charged the victim with a domestic weapon and a bamboo stick.
