Share investors staged a protest against the government's new tax policy by locking broker offices during the morning hours on June 4.
According to brokers, investors named Tilak Koirala, Keshav Koirala, Rohan Karki, Nayan Bastola, and others participated in the protest by physically locking the offices.
In an attempt to address their concerns, the investors have approached the Ministry of Finance to hold discussions with the Finance Minister.
Despite the protest, trading in the market has not come to a halt, as investors still have the option to trade shares online
