Police on June 6 arrested 35-year-old Krishna Tamang of Belkotgadhi municipality-7 Nuwakot currently residing in Nagarjun-4  Bafal of Kathmandu on the charge of raping a 22-year-old woman. Police arrested the accused after the victim's relative filed a complaint against him at Swoyambhu Police Circle on June 5. The victim underwent a medical examination at maternity hospital in Thapathali. Police are further investigating the incident by holding the accused in to custody.
