The anti-graft body has filed a case against UML Kathmandu District Chairman Nirmal Kuinkel accusing him of embezzling Rs 465,687,000 during his tenure as a member secretary at the Pashupati Development Trust at the Special Court today morning. Likewise, the graft-case has also been filed against former member secretary of the PADT Sushil Mehata, Kuinkel, Former Local Development Officer of Kathmandu Mahendra Lal Shrestha, Prem Raj Joshi, Gopal Parajuli, Former Planning Officer Bhishma Kumar Malla, sand diggers Bachchu Ram Dahal and Mitha Ram Dahal at the Special Court today. Duo sand diggers Bachchu Ram Dahal and Mitha Ram Dahal have been charged for misappropriating funds while handling contracts of the sand mine located around the area of 534 ropani of land owned by PADT, CIAA Press Advisor Bhawani Subedi told Myrepublica.
