One man died as the area health center in Saya VDC remains without any health workers and medicines. Singh Shahi, 59, of Saya VDC-8 died on the night of February 21 after he could not get treatment on time. A local of the same VDC, Ratan Singh said that Shahi died of flu due to delayed supply of medicines by the District Health Office and the absence of area health in-charge. There have been a flu outbreak since the last seven days leaving several villagers seriously ill. Dharma Bahadur Shahi, a rural health worker of the Saya area health post said that even the District Health Office had been without a doctor and medicines.
