Accused of attempted rape sent to custody

The district court has ordered 44-year-old Ganga Prashad Silwal to be remanded in custody on the charge of attempting to rape a 10-year-old girl on January 26. According to information the accused had attempted to rape the minor when she was alone at her home. Police had detained him on the same day. The victim received medical checkup at Mechi zonal hospital in Bhadrapur.
