A woman has been injured after being thrashed by her husband on Sunday. 30-year-old Sarala Rai of Tiryuga-8 VDC has faced domestic violence at a time when women's rights activists are campaigning against violence against women. Husband Lal Bahadur Rai pounced his wife in her the face injuring her around the eyes. The victim has filed a complaint against her husband in District police office on Tuesday.
