34-year-old Dhal Kumari Khatri of Rajkut VDC-1 lodged a complaint of polygamy at DPO on March 10 against her 32-year-old husband Ramesh Kunwar. She lodged the complaint demanding action against her husband for marrying 26-year-old Asmita Khatri of Rajkut VDC-1 on March 5 as his second wife. She complained that her husband has been mistreating her since the past. She further requested for steps for justice. DSP Prem Bahadur Basnet said that the police have registered the complaint under polygamy and initiated the investigation process.
