Villagers of a 69-year-old elderly woman who was raped and murdered have built and granted a new home to her surviving husband and son. After the news of the woman's murder villagers throughout the village and even those who are abroad had descended into grief. Because of the relative distance of the woman's house from the village, her murder was discovered only two days after it occurred. A fellow villager Dolraj Pandey who is currently living in the US has built and granted a new house at the expense of around rupees lakh to the woman's family through his mother. Now that they are able to live in a house right in the village the elderly woman's husband Laxmipati and son Thirlal feel secure. Laxmipati expressed his happiness at receiving the new house. The 40-year-old man raped and killed the deaf woman. The village was in mourning. The killer was arrested four days later. Deurupa Sapkota, an old woman of remote Harmichaur-3, was raped and murdered. A fellow villager Dolraj Pandey who is currently living in the US has built and granted a new house at a cost of Rs 500,000 including land to the woman's family through his mother. Now that they are able to live in a house right in the village the elderly woman's husband Laxmipati and son Thirlal feel secure. Laxmipati expressed his happiness at receiving the new house.
