32-year-old man arrested for raping elderly woman

32-year-old Mangal Bahadur Baram, a resident of Shreenathkot VDC has been arrested by the police on the charge of raping a 70-year-old woman from Takukot here in Gorkha. According to the statement given by the elderly victim, the accused raped her when she was alone in her house. Police are conducting further investigation into the matter.
