Locals of Chunikhel in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu have confiscated relief materials from the house of ward committee chairman of Nepali Congress Hari Ram Shrestha. Accusing Hari Ram of discriminating in relief distribution the angry locals captured the relief materials from his house. The group led by Nawapur Club has confiscated tarpaulins, blankets, rice, and other materials from the houses of local leaders of political parties. They have said that they would distribute the relief materials to the victims of the earthquake. The Ward Chairman, Ram Hari claimed that he intended to distribute the relief materials equally.
