A 21-year-old woman was killed by her family in Pipra-2 VDC of Kapilbastu district. According to the woman's parents, the woman identified as Meraju Nisha was murdered by her 22-year-old husband Mehtab Alam, and her in-laws on Tuesday, July 7 in the morning. The woman's husband informed her parents on Tuesday morning at around 4:00 am informed that she had died due to natural cause. The parents claimed that her family members killed her by pressing her throat. Blue injury marks were found on different parts of her body indicating that death was not natural. Based on the parents' complaint police arrested the accused husband and his parents for further investigation. The dead woman's body was sent to District Hospital Taulihawa for post-mortem. Police are investigating the reason behind the murder.
