Police have registered a complaint of the rape case against 51-year-old Jagat Limbu, Dhankuta district committee member of UCPN Maoist on July 8, Wednesday. Limbu, a resident of Dhankuta municipality-5 is accused of raping a minor. Sub-inspector Dinesh Adhikari of DPO informed that Limbu was arrested from his home based on the complaint filed by the mother of the victim on July 8 at DPO Dhankuta. In the complaint filed the victim's mother reported that Limbu had repeatedly raped the minor by falsely persuading her. The arrested is being held in the custody of DPO Dhankuta for further investigation.
