Man remanded in custody for polygamy in Tanahu

The District Court of Tanahun has remanded a person to custody on the charge of polygamy. Rabindra Shrestha, 30, of Campus Road, Bhimad VDC, was sent to detention for trial after his wife Lalita filed a case against Shrestha and his new wife 20-year-old Shobha. The court has, however, ordered Shobha’s release on a bail of Rs 50,000.
