Three arrested for gang raping 12-year-old girl in Parsa

A 12-year-old minor girl from Bhedihari in Parsa was gang-raped by three men on Friday night. The alleged perpetrators identified as 30-year-old Bhupendra Sah Kanu, 25-year-old Govind Prashad Chauhan, and 23-year-old Ram Kalash Sah Kanu from Satbariya ward 4, in Pokhariya municipality raped the minor girl by forcibly taking her to a field 4km away from her home while she had gone out to urinate. The three perpetrators who were fleeing after committing the sinful act were arrested by a team of police deployed from Area Police Office, Pokhariya. Police have launched a further investigation into the incident following a written complaint by the victim's parents on Saturday evening. The minor victim went for a medical check-up at Narayani Sub-regional hospital.
