Case of rape attempt registered

Area Police Office, Birtamod has registered a case of rape attempt against Chandra Bahadur Karki, 20, of Kankai Municipality-3 on August 7 at the District Court. Karki is accused of trying to rape a 3-year-old girl at her home on the same day while she was alone at her home. Police had arrested him from the site. Medical check-up of the girl was conducted at Mechi Zonal Hospital in Bhadrapur the same day, police said.
