Life in Gandaki-Dhaulagiri affected by two simultaneous bandhs

Life in Gandaki and Dhaulagiri has been badly affected due to the Nepal bandh enforced by disgruntled parties including CPN-Maoist (Baidhya) and Federal Socialist Forum and Gandaki and Dhaulagiri bandh organized by the Hindu State Conservation Campaign which has been demanding to reinstate Nepal as a Hindu state. Long and short route transportation to and from Pokhara has been completely halted due to the bandh. Cadres of the parties have been actively enforcing bandh by gathering at the main chowks. Schools, colleges, banks, hospitals, and other services also remain closed due to the bandh. Police have arrested 3 protesters in Pokhara.
