The bus was being escorted by police to its destination when it was set on fire, said Chief at the District Traffic Police Office Lahan, Police Inspector Arjun Pokhrel. Police attempted to resume the East-West highway blocked due to the indefinite banda called by the Madhesi Front by escorting the vehicles.
