The local administration on Wednesday imposed a ban on the rally, demonstration, assembly and sit-in in Gulariya and Rajapur municipalities. The administration continued the prohibitory order in Gulariya from 11 am till 5 pm in the evening in view of the continuous protest rallies. Chief District Officer of Bardiay, Binod Bahadur Kunwar, said the order was issued to avert the possible untoward incident. The authority has banned the use of batons, spares, and petrol, among other home-made weapons, during the protest. Those founding violating the rule will be arrested and the security personnel have been given the authority to open fire if the rule is defied, CDO Kunwa informed.
