Federal Limbuwan Party Nepal, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Mohan Baidhya-led CPN-Maoist, among others, demanding a separate Limbuwan state encompassing nine districts to the east of Arun River on Sunday launched the Limbuwan occupy agitation from Phidim, headquarters of Panchthar. The agitators have termed the protest led by Kirant Yakthung Chumlung “Limbuwan Occupy Agitation”. The protesters have erected makeshift tents at the open land near the main gate of Phidim Bazaar. Kirant Yakthung Chumlung Panchthar district Chairman Buddharaj Limbu said that they were trying to give symbolic message of Limbuwan occupy agitation by living in makeshift tents. Limbu said that they had launched the occupy agitation from nine districts of the east including Ilam, Panchtahr, Taplejung, Terhathum, Sunsari, Dhankuta, Jhapa, Morang, and Lalitpur, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.
