A group of banda enforcers have torched two government offices in the district on Thursday. District Education Office and District Land Conservation Office were set ablaze in the district headquarters. A jeep, Ba 1 Jha 4761, at education office was set on fire, while furniture at conservation office was reduced to ashes. Although the District Police Office is located at a distance of 500 meters from the education office, fire engine reached the office only after half an hour of arson.
