Sit-in was staged in Prithivi chwok of Pokhara demanding Tamuwan autonomous state. Indigenous communities of Kaski district such as; Tamu, Magar, Tamang participated in sit-in organized by Tamuwan Struggle Committee. Addressing the sit-in assembly, ex-chairperson of NEFIN, Dr. Om Gurung accused that false illusion has been spread linking identity with caste. He added that Tamuwan should step forward for rights, identity, justice and fair treatment. Ex-General Secretary of NEFIN expressed that if new constitution is forced, it would not be acceptable to anyone.
