Cadres of Tharuhat struggle committee have vandalized a truck in East-West highway in Kohalpur on Sunday. Accusing the truck bearing number plate Na 4 Kha 1477 of defying bandh cadres of Tharuhat stopped it at Samjhana Chowk of Kohalpur-4 and broke its windshields. According to DSP Rajiv Bahadur KC, the protesters had attempted to torch the truck but fled the scene upon arrival of police. Police have taken the vandalized truck to Kohalpur police station. Cadres of Tharuhat struggle committee have resorted to obstruction at different sections of East-West highway in Kohalpur since early morning on Sunday.
