Man convicted of rape nabbed after a decade

A man who was convicted of raping a 15-year-old girl was arrested a decade after the court’s verdict. In November 2005, the District Court, Panchthar had slapped five-year jail term to 32-year-old San Bahadur Nepali of Chowkmagu VDC-3 in the district on the charge of raping a girl. Nepali was arrested from Harkate in Ilam district. Police said that Nepali was sent to custody on Tuesday.
