Man accused of rape arrested in Dailekh

District Police Office arrested 18-year-old Sher Bahadur Shahi of Bindhyabasini VDC-2 at his home on September 19 on the charges of raping an 18-year-old girl on May 1.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office on May 3. District Police Office filed a case of rape against the accused on May 17. Medical checkup of the girl was conducted at District Hospital, Thaludanda where she also received treatment.
DSP Bir Bahadur Wali informed that Shahi was taken to District Court on September 18.
