On September 23, the District Police Office arrested 46-year-old Dambar Bahadur Khatri of Guthi in Baglung Municipality-3 on the charges of raping a 22-year-old woman on the same day. The victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office soon after the incident saying that Khatri had raped her after entering her rented room in the pretext of demand rent. His remand was extended on September 24 for five days, Inspector Arun Kumar Bhandari informed. Medical check-up of the victim and the accused was conducted at Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital on September 23.
