Curfew lifted in Jaleshwar, prohibitory order continues

Local administration has lifted curfew in district headquarters Jaleshwar being imposed since September 9. However, the prohibitory order imposed in the area from Red Crosss to Khairachok and from Mahendra Chok to District Police Office, Court, Prison and 500 meters towards the road to district hospital remains at place, CDO Deepak Kafle said. The curfew order was lifted after the cabinet meeting on October 1 decided to do away with curfew in all places. Meanwhile, the district level meeting of Nepali and Indian officials has become uncertain due to the going Madhes unrest. Madhes bandh has entered 49th day badly affecting the public life.
