District court of Saptari has extended the remand date 31-year-old Rahamud Miya who was arrested by the police on the charge of killing his wife Safina Khatun. According to Sub-inspector Jay Prakash Shah, Miya was arrested on the 23rd of October, on the basis of a complaint filed by the victim's father Sadrul Miya on October 22. Sub-inspector Shah also informed that the others accused of being involved in the killing, victim's in-laws Dil Mahamad Miya 59-year-old, Bechani Khatun 54-year-old, 33-year-old Alam Miya, 28-year-old Bibi Khatun and Shubhan Miya are on the run.
