Body of an unidentified woman has been at Mudawalawa VDC in Rautahat in the morning of October 29. Locals had informed police after finding body of the woman at the Litchi orchard of Surendra Yadav in Mudawalawa-2. District Police Office Rautahat said that the body was half-naked and the woman had been strangled with her petticoat. Police suspected that the woman might have been murdered after rape. Though a purse was found from her body, no documents revealing her identity was found, according to police. Body of the deceased is kept at District Hospital in Gaur for post-mortem. Bipeen Gautam
