Police arrested three persons on December 7 on the charges of gang-raping an 18-year-old girl on December 6. Family of the victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office accusing 30-year-old  Top Bahadur Gurung and 31-year-old  Binod GC and 31-year-old Sher Bahadur KC of Birendranagar Municipality-14 on the charges of raping her. The medical check-up of the victim was conducted at Regional Hospital Surkhet. Bahadur Jung Malla, spokesperson at the District Police Office said that Sher Bahadur was held on December 6 while the other two were arrested the next day. The accused have been remanded in custody by the district court order of December 7.
