34-year-old police officer Bhadra Bahadur Shahi, a resident of Dailekh, Bindyabasini VDC-8 who was working in Area Police Office in Dandakonaka has been arrested in accusation of attempting rape on a 35-year-old woman on January 10. He was arrested on January 17. The family of the victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Kaski, on January 17 claiming that the accused tried to rape the victim by threatening her. The medical test of the victim was done at Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara on January 14.
