Police has arrested four persons on Tuesday on charge of attempting to traffic four Ramechhap women to India. According to District Police Office Chitawan, police arrested the four men from Ashoka hotel in Bharatpur on Tuesday afternoon. The arrested have been identified as Sanjay Tamang of Mangalpur,Chitwan, Tolaram Thapa of Keshabtar, Tanahau, Dayaram Kandel of Gajuri, Dhading, and Raju Gurung of Panchamul, Syangja. Police said that the four men had brought four women aged 19 to 34 from Ramechhap saying that they would send the women to kyrgyzstan for employment. In truth, police investigation revealed that the arrested were planning to traffic the women to India via Mahendranagar border and sell them there. चितवन प्रहरीले महिलाहरुलाई बेचबिखन गर्न लागेको आशंकामा चारजना लाई पक्राउ गरेको छ। जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यलयले दिएको विवरण अनुसार मंगलबार दिउँसो एक बजे भरतपुर– १० मा रहेको होटल अशोकाबाट उनीहरु पक्राउ परेका हुन्। रामेछापका चारजना महिलालाई रोजगारीकालागि किर्गिजिस्तान पठाउने भन्दै उनीहरुले आफूसँगै ल्याएको प्रहरीले बताएको छ। महिलाहरु १९ देखि ३१ वर्षसम्मका छन्। 'किर्गिजिस्तान पठाउने भनिएपनि पश्चिम नाका महेन्द्रनगरको बाटोहुँदै भारत लैजाने र भारतमा बेचबिनगर्ने उद्देश्य राखेको पाइयो,' चितवन जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका सह प्रवक्ता प्रहरी निरीक्षक रविनबाबु रेग्मीले भने। प्रहरीले चितवन मंगलपुरका सञ्जय तमाङ, तनहुँ केशबटारका टोलाराम थापा, धादिङ गजुरीका दयाराज कँडेल र स्याङ्जा पंचमुलका राजु गुरुङलाई अशोका होटलबाट गिरफ्तार गरेको छ। त्यस्तै सोही गिरोहमा संलग्न भएको आशंकामा दयाराज कँडेललाई काठमाडौंबाट पक्राउ गरेको प्रहरीको भनाइ छ । उनीहरु विरुद्ध मानव बेचविखन तथा ओसार पसार अपराधमा मुद्दा चलाइने छ।
