2 black marketeers nabbed from Kapan

Police said two persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in fuel black marketing from Kapan of Kathmandu on Friday. Shankar Giri (3) from Kuntadevi-3 of Okhaldhunga district and Prakash Sapkota (25) from Balakhu-8 of Okhaldhunga district were nabbed from Sattale, Kapan, Budhanilakantha-12 two days ago, the Metropolitan Police Crime Division said on Sunday. Police seized 2,950 litres of diesel and 100 litres of petrol from them. The MPCD said the duo hoarded the petroleum products and sold at higher rates than the fixed price. They were sent to the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, for further investigation and action.
