Accused of rape arrested in Biratnagar

19-year-old Sunil Kumar Sardaar, a resident of Dadarbairiya VDC-1 has been arrested by the police on February 15 on the charge of raping a 7-year-old girl.
The family of the victim filed a complaint at Area Police Office Rangeli on February 14 claiming that the girl was raped while she was going to participate in Saraswati puja. Medical examination of the girl was done at Koshi Zonal Hospital in Biratnagar on February 15.
