73-year-old Shambhu B.K., a resident of Changunarayan municipality-10, has been arrested on the charge of repeated rape on a girl. B.K. was arrested after the family of the victim filed an FIR against him stating that he had continuously raped the girl and got her pregnant. The girl's family came to know that B.K who used to frequent their house was raping the girl only after she became pregnant. The victim reported to the Metropolitan Police Circle that she was repeatedly raped by B.K between July and January 4. According to DSP Shekhar Khanal, B.K. has been taken into custody and police are preparing to press rape charges against him.
