The Lumbini Zonal Hospital remained tense on Wednesday, following the death of a pregnant woman. 30-year-old Ram Kumari Tamang of Sunwal Municipality-6 of Nawalparasi was admitted to the hospital at around 10:00 am on Tuesday as she suffered from labor pain on the same morning. She died due to excessive bleeding at around 7:00 am on Wednesday. Her relatives blamed the hospital for its negligence and refused to accept the body. Hospital Officiating Chief Dr. Rajendra Khanal said that they are investigating the reason behind the pregnant woman's death.
