Five arrested for protesting against Hewa Khola 'A' hydropower project

Police have arrested 5 persons from Bharpa-4 VDC in Panchthar on Wednesday for protesting against the construction of Hewa Khola 'A' hydropower project.
The arrested have been identified as Mahesh Adhikari, Mahendra Hangsurumba, Ranakumar Hangsurumba, Tek Bahadur Hangsurumba and Rangin Hangsurumba. They were arrested by a team of police deployed from District Police Office Panchthar. The police said that the arrested were protesting against the damage caused to the suspension bridge connecting Langnam VDC with Nangin VDC.
