22-year-old Sabitri Khati of Sunsera VDC-4, currently residing in Api municipality-11 filed a complaint against her husband 32-year-old Dhansingh Khati on March 20 in accusation of domestic violence and torture. The victim was living at her parents' house in Kotpetara VDC-7, Baitadi since filing the complaint. She stated in her complaint that she was repeatedly beaten by her husband under the influence of alcohol and had also given pressure to leave the house.
