One Person sentenced to 6 years in jail on the charges of Rape in Jumla

The District Court of Jumla sentenced 24-year-old Mahesh Bhandari of Depalgaun to 6 years in prison on the charges of raping a 19-year-old girl. A verdict issued by district court justice Kripasur Karki on Monday announced the sentence on Bhandari and also fined him rupees one lakh. She was raped on September 27, 2015, and Bhandari was arrested the very next day on September 28, 2015.
