The District Court announced eight years imprisonment to 18-year-old Netra Bahadur Kumal of Teliya in Satbariya-8 for raping a 12-year-old girl. The court also sent 23-year-old Bhupal Gharti Magar of Deupar in Lamahi Municipality-10 to four years in prison for assisting Kumal rape the girl. District Judge Komal Prasad Acharya convicted the duo and issued the sentence, according to Srestedar of the court Gambhir Rana. Police filed a lawsuit against the duo after arresting them on the charges of raping the girl in a hotel in Bhalubang on May 3, 2015.
