District Court found 27-year-old Girman Darlami of Bakiamalang VDC-7 guilty on the charges of raping a 15-year-old girl and sentenced him to 3 years of imprisonment on April 19. The bench of district judge Dilliraman Tiwari gave the verdict to Darlami for attempting to rape a 15-year-old girl. Darliram had attempted to rape the girl on October 1, 2015, and on the same day, the victim’s family filed a complaint at District Police Office. The victim underwent a medical examination at District Hospital on October 1, 2015.
