Police have arrested 24-year-old Shrawan Yadav of Bariyarpatti-1 VDC in Siraha in possession of an illegal home-made pistol and bullets. Yadav was arrested by a special troop of police deployed from District Police Office Siraha on the basis of a tip-off. The arrested is being held under the custody of DPO Siraha for further investigation. SP Shyam Gyawali of DPO said that police are preparing to charge Yadav under arms and ammunition Act. Police have recovered 6 pistols from different places in Siraha over the past one month and have arrested 7 individuals.
