There has been caste discrimination among 16-year-old Ranjit Kumar Ram and 19-year-old Saroj Kumar Mahara. They have even filed a case against the ones involved in discrimination. On July 19, they were invited by Shiva Pujan Rai at his home. However, when they reached their, Rai's son Shuba Lal Rai, Halkhori Rai's son Agojhi Rai a and 55-year Chandreshwar Rai asked them why they were sitting there and even scolded them. They got angry at them telling them not to touch anything and make things impure. D.S.P Purushottam Pandey of Sarlahi district said that he immediately ordered to arrest the perpetrators after the incident. Police is investigating further about the case.
