Journalist Jagdish Bhattarai staged a one-hour peaceful symbolic sit-in in front of Tansen Drinking Water Consumer's Committee on August 9, Sunday demanding regular distribution of drinking water. Tansen has been facing drinking water problem for almost two months now.
He said that sit-in has organized as there is no hearing even after repeatedly drawing the attention of the concerned bodies. Journalists, human rights activists and the general public have expressed solidarity in the peaceful sit-in.
